ISA Accounts

Hi HMRC admin, I have mistakenly opened 2 ISA cash fixed accounts for 23-24 tax year. And both accounts are deposited to max 20k. My fault, as I thought one is for fixed deposit. May you advise how to correct it, please? TIA!

Hi,

You will need to close one of the accounts and HMRC will contact you in due course regarding any tax to pay on any interest received.
