Hi, I would like to know if I came to the UK on 03 Jul 2022 and started renting a house on 19 Aug 2022. I have been living in the UK from last year until now for over 183 days. In the 2022-2023 tax year, I would like to fill out the SA109 form. The question is, do I meet the criteria for split-year treatment, and should I put an 'X' in box 3? Is that correct, and what date should I enter in box 6 and box 10 as well, thanks

Hi,

HMRC cannot tell you that and it is for you to determine based on the guidance available.

RDRM12000 - Residence: The SRT: Split year treatment

Thank you.
