Dear Tax Experts, please may Iask if I am able to claim tax relief on costs of training I pay for myself that maintains my professional currency because my employer cannot provide nor fund this essential training? Many thanks.

Hi,

If your employer does not provide relief for this essential training, you may still be able to claim relief. To do so, write to us at Pay As You Earn and Self Assessment, HM Revenue and

Customs, BX9 1AS, detailing the training undertaken, when it was taken and how much it cost.

Thank you.
