I arrived in the UK in 1987 and remained a UK tax resident until 5 April 2023. I left the UK permanently in March 2023 and returned to my domicile of origin (Greece) where I am now a tax resident. I am and will continue to be compliant with all the residence tests in the UK and I will not ever again be a tax resident of the UK. I need to find the EXACT date in the future from which I will cease to be deemed domiciled for IHT and Gift Tax purposes. Is it 6/4/2029, i.e. the first day of the UK tax year following 6 consecutive UK tax years during which I was not a UK tax resident?
