Can I transfer my tax refund to an ISA?

Hello HMRC, I have recently received my tax refund in my normal bank account (not a business bank account). I would like to know if it is legally permissible to transfer part of this tax refund to my ISA account (with the same bank) and keep it there, or should I simply keep it in my normal bank account and spend it as usual?
