Self assessment when meeting requirements for remittance basis without claim

Good morning. I became UK tax resident in February 2022. Because my income in the UK (including interest) was less than £100 and I only remitted clean funds, I assumed that I did not have to complete a self assessment (meeting the requirements for the automatic remittance basis without claim). Given the fact that I meet the requirements for the automatic remittance basis without a claim, have I been correct to assume that I do not have to complete a self assessment.
