Hello, I was self-employed (individual entrepreneur) in Belarus from 2015 til January 2021 and was working as contractor at one US based company. That company invited me to work as full time employee in the UK based office. I arrived in the UK in the end of December 2020 and started working as full time employee in February 2021 and ceased to operate as self-employed contractor at the same time. Then, during the period from May 2021 to August 2021, I transferred my savings from my Belarus self-employed bank account to my personal Belarusian bank account and then to the UK bank account via ATM. Could you please tell me, do I need to pay taxes on my transferred savings from Belarus in the UK? Thank you.

Just want to clarify, I meant "sole trader" when I said "individual entrepreneur ". Thank you.

Hi Kaban,
This income was generated when you were not resident in the UK and so is not taxable in the UK, when you transfer it to a UK bank account.
Thank you.
