I wrote to claim a tax refund for additional pension contributions in the 2022/23 tax year in early April but have heard nothing. I have used the "when can I expect a reply" tool and it said I should have heard back by 5th May. I've tried calling but it says that these applications are being worked through so I don't need to call. It's now been 4 months so I called today and waited on hold for 1/2hr but then I got called away. Is there any timescale available for when I should hear back?

The online checker is correct that we would have expected this to be reviewed by now. 
Please contact our helpline again to review.
