Not received tax refund cheque after P85

Dear team, I moved out of the UK in Jan 2023 to India. I filled up the P85 and still haven't received my cheque in India. On calling the HMRC helpline, I was told that the cheque may have been lost in post and was offered to be sent another one. I accepted but still haven't received the second cheque either. It is extremely saddening to see that a simple refund is not able to be sent efficiently even after 10 months. The HMRC helpline isn't helpful at all either. Please can you advise and guide on how I can get my money back? Clearly the current system isn't working. Thanks.
