I have a pension maturing from a previous employer that will give me £300 a month, I want to start a shared cost avc alongside my LGPS. I want to put in £300 a month equivalent to what my pension will pay out so I don’t pay extra tax My employer says this figure will take me bellow the national living wage and I can only contribute £29. A month in to avc. Even though my pension payment will cover the cost I have read on line that I could put 100% of my wage in to avc, I just want to boost my avc pot over the next 3/5 years before I do retire Any advice
