I have had a total of £1,103.77 amount of dividend income received in tax year 2023-24. I understand that the Dividend Allowance for that tax year was £1000, therefore I have a taxable amount of £103.77. I am a Higher Rate tax payer and consequently I believe that the tax percentage for higher rate tax payers is 33.75% resulting in me owing £35.02 in Tax. Assuming the above is correct can you kindly let me know how I can communicate this to HMRC for the recalculation of my tax code. Thank you
