If an employee works contractually from home (i.e. Dartford) 5 days a week and is contractually allowed to travel all over the UK to meet clients, if he needs to travel from home to the office in London even once every 15 days (this travel expense is then reimbursed by the employer) will the expense be considered a taxable benefit or not? Also if he eats near the London office and this expense is again reimbursed will it be considered a taxable benefit or not? Thank you

Hi
It would be taxable income but you would then claim this as an expesnes so that they cancel one another out.
