Hi HMRC, This is my first year report SSA. I earned "£80 Food Courier Income" and "£300 savings interest of foreign income" in the 2022/2023 Tax Year. Do I need to report SSA in this two part?

Hi syjohn,
You will be required to declare your foreign income from savings interest in a Self Assessment tax return.
As your self employed income is below the £1000 business income allowance, you do not need to declare this in a tax return.
Thank you.

Thank your reply. During the same tax year (2023/2024), I also worked full time(Pay tax in PAYE). Do I need to do a self-assessment for "£80 from Food Courier Income"?

Hi
If you annual self employment income is below £1000, then you do not need to complete a tax return for self assessment purposes.  If you have to complete a tax return for other reasons and your annual self employment income is below £1000, then you do not need to declare this in your tax return.
