I had got gateway number and password number. but HMRC have the questions of "WE NEED TO CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY" to ask me to answer the questions. I answered the questions. I cannot confirm my identity. I didn't know what had happened. I just wanted to confirm my identity to make a HMRC online self-assessment.

To access your online acount you will need to pass the security questions to verify your identity. If you answered the questions correctly but still not able to access then you will need to contact our online helpdesk for assistance.

Hi, I recently logged into the Government Gateway to check my state pension without any issues. However, during my last login yesterday, I received a message saying, "WE NEED TO CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY." My credentials are correct, but even when I try to confirm my identity, it does not allow me to proceed. What should I do? Thanks.
