Hi, I was holding a 2-year UK working holiday visa while working for a UK company in previous years. During that time, my employer treated me as an ordinary UK tax resident, withholding part of my salary for UK income tax on a monthly basis. Could you please let me know if I am eligible for a tax refund for the income tax I paid while on the UK working visa? If so, where I should refer to? Many thanks!

Hi,
If living and working in the UK, you would be liable to UK tax laws and tax would be deducted accordingly and it is unlikley that a refund is due. You can contact our Income Tax team so we can check your records to see if any repayment is due.

Thank you.
