Dear HMRC or anyone else, I am urgently seeking assistance as I am unable to change the phone number on my account, which has left me locked out of accessing my online account. The deadline for online submissions is fast approaching, and I have already missed the postal submission deadline. I have attempted to resolve this issue through online chat and by calling your helpline. However, I’ve been on hold for hours, only for the call to disconnect multiple times. Despite repeated attempts, I have not been successful in accessing my account or finding a solution. This situation is incredibly frustrating and stressful, especially as I need to ensure compliance with the submission deadlines. Please advise me on what I can do immediately to resolve this issue.
