Hi, I submitted the claim for expenses related to my employment for the last financial year. I just received a letter from HMRC that one of the items was disallowed which is fine for me. So what next? I checked the status of the claim online it says completed. Am I getting a tax refund for rest of the claim? Thanks.

Hi TL,
We are unable to check personal records through the forum.
If the letter you received has only one of the items disallowed, assumably the remaining items would still be claimed.
Please contact HMRC if you wish to check this, or allow some time for the calculation to arrive.
