I have requested an overpayment withdrawl now x3 but each time it doesn't work. I don't get any messages or notifications to say why payment can't be made. It's gone on now for over 8 weeks. The bank account is the one i have had for over 10 years with self assessment. I didn't want to but have raised a complaint, that was made over 20 days ago and no response. Truly awful and yet when they want money we are chased and worse yet, penalised if we don't make our payments on time. Any ideas on what i need to do?

If you've made multiple requests for your repayment but have yet to receive it, there may be something necessarily delaying it's issue.
We may need to confirm that it's you requesting the repayment, for example, or to check some information provided by an employer.
