Allowable expenses - not self employed but remote worker

I work from home for two fully remote companies. I am paid via payroll and therefore have PAYE applied. Am I entitled to the same expenses as someone who is self employed? I’ve never claimed these before but my home office needed a new roof and I wondered if I can list this is an expense on my self assessment?
