I am self employed and work from home. I am the owner of my flat, which is in a tenement building of 6 flats. I have to pay 2 o 3 invoices each year from the building management company, which include their management fee, cleaning of the stairs, general maintenance and repairs of the building. I am not sure if I can claim a percentage of those invoices as allowable expense. Any help would be appreciated.

No, as these are not wholly necessarily required for you to perform your work in your home. Only actual home related expenses can count. You can see guidance here:
