Hi, I have one foreign bank account, which was not operated since some time hence it was frozen but now it is active and I can see it has paid small amount of interest. I have already submitted my 2022-23 tax return. I think I can still update it before 31-Jan-23 and include this interest amount in my return, am i right? In my self assessment login it shows option to update previous return as well for 2021-22. Can I update that as well for this foreign bank interest? Can someone please confirm? Thanks

Hi Chandra Prasad,
You are correct in that you can amend your 21/22 tax return up to 31 january 2024.
After that date, any changes will need to be in writing, so that they can be calculated manually.
Thank you.
