Payment pending for a long time

I’ve asked for my rebate to taken off pending. I’ve been told if I do that. They’ve got to Release The money… why am I still waiting

Overpayment from tax return for tax year ending 05 Apr 2023 'Payment pending' since November! Website states 2 weeks, 4 if additional security checks are needed. How do I find out when payment will be made?

If your repayment is still pending then it will have been selected for security checks. To review when the checks will be complete you will need to contact HMRC Self Assessment: general enquiries
