I submitted the online form to register for self assessment, it says it will be processed in November so I wouldn't be able to complete the filing by 31 October. Isn't it?

If you are registering to file your 23/24 return online, you have until the 31st of January 2025 to do so.

If you will be sending a paper return, please do so as soon as you receive confirmation of your registration - if any penalties arise, contact us by webchat or phone via :

HM Revenue & Customs    /contact/self-assessment to discuss these .
