Hi there, I received a foreign dividend over £2,000. The dividend has not been tax yet in the foreign country and I am not claiming any credit due to double taxation agreements. In my self-assessment should I report it in the foreign income section or both in the foreign income section and the dividend section (the latter up to £2,000)? Thank you

Hi,

As it is over £2000, yes it needs to be on the foreign section of the return.

Thank you.

Thank you - for the avoidance of doubt: should I only book it on the foreign section?
