Payment in advance

Hey I have a pretty big tax coming for last year and was wondering if after paying off everything, will I need to pay the 50% in advance for next year no matter what? I was looking to move abroad pretty soon (hopefully in around 2-3 months) but paying a huge installment will make this plan a bit more difficult and most likely stall it until next year
