Hi, I was earning below 50k until the end of 2023, when my salary increased twice with a few months. When I go to calculate the child benefit tax I owe back do I have to do it twice i.e., where it states "Are you claiming for only a part of the tax year for any of your children?" Do I have to claim each salary band over the course of the time I earned it or can I find a value on my P60 that I can just to do one claim?

Hi,

It is your salary at the end of the year and this will be on your P60.

Thank you.
