Whether need to make a self -assessment for the tax year 6/4/23-5/4/24

I bought a semi-detached house on 22 February 2024 from overseas, and I went to the United Kingdom on 15 May 2024. I want to confirm whether I need to make a self-assessment for the tax year 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024. Thanks.
