NEST CONTRIBUTION IN SA100

Hi HMRC, This is my first Self Assessment. Do I have to enter the amount of "my contribution" and "relief claimed from the government" in the pension scheme part of SA100? Thank you.

Hi,
If you are a higher rate taxpayer and are claiming the pension relief on your contributions from your net wage, then you would declare your contribution, plus the basic rate tax relief claimed by the pension provider.
