I made my tax payment today but I had a problem with the payment reference. I only input my UTR number without inputting a "K" after the UTR number. Will that be a problem? Anything I can do to fix it?

Hi,

The payment should still be allocated. It can take up to 7 working days to process the payment to your account. Please allow for that that timescale and check your online account again. If the payment has not been allocated you will need to contact our Self Assessment team to trace and update the payment.
