Does non-resident (for tax purpose) entitle to claim £1,000 trading allowance on his sole trader income arising from UK? So far as I understand, non-resident may not be entitled to claim £12,570 personal allowance. So, I would like to confirm if a non-resident is entitle to claim £1,000 trading allowance.

Hi rowatze,
If you are not UK tax resident and there is a tax treaty with your country of residence, you may find that you are not taxble on this income in the UK, but your country of residence.
