Hi there. I submitted my Self Assessment tax return and am attempting to pay the amounts owing. My 2022-2023 tax due (less my previous payments on account) was showing correctly in my account under "Current Position" - which I have paid. But there is no request or any details for 'Payments On Account'....? I am definitely due to pay these, with the first one obviously now overdue - but there is no mention of an amount anywhere on the 'Current Position' page?

Hi,

Payments on account are due if the balance due for the previous tax year was over £1000 and less than 80% of tax was deducted at source. If you meet this criteria but payments on account are not set up, then you will need to contact our Self Assessment team to review.
