I normally commute from home to my place of work. However, due to starting up a new factory, certain days of the week I now have to travel to an alternative place of work. And occasionally I travel to one place of work and then later that day travel to my second place of work. Can I claim mileage when travelling to my temporary place of work (and if so is the claim from home to temporary work or the just the additional miles that I have to travel) or can I only claim when I am travelling between work places on the same day Thanks

Hi,

You would only be able to claim for business travel. Travel to your normal place of work is a prviate journey in you would not be able to claim for this.

Thank you.
