I am a care assistant work for the care company. I need to go to different client's home to provide services. As I need to work with my car, i have to buy [business class 1 insurance], may i know can i apply a tax return for this expense? As my company did not pay any about the cost of the car insurance.

Hi,
If you use your own vehicle or vehicles for work, it may be possible to claim tax relief for the running costs of the vehicle if your employer reimburse you less that the approved mileage rates.
This Rate covers all apects of running of the vehicle and can not be broken down into different costs.
