I've just read that the limits for receiving child benefit has increased. Full benefit upto £60k and some reduced benefit upto £80k. I earn > £60k but less than £80k and in the last two years (20-21 and 21-22) I've just paid back more than £6,000 in child benefit I was eventually told I should not have received. Now that the limits have been increased can I claim back some of this repayment?

Hi 1970sDad,
No, as you would have been charged this based on the limits of 60k being applicable for those years.
Thank you.
