Refund paid but not in bank account

HMRC says they have paid my refund on 28th june but its not showing in my bank I've contacted my bank and they said they cant see any payments processing on their side

Would my refund be paid in to my bank instead of going in with my work pay

If you are due a tax repayment for the current tax year this would be refunded by your employer in your wages. If you have received a P800 tax calculation for a earlier tax years repayment this can be claimed by BACS into your bank account following the instructions on the calculation.
