Hi, I have only received PAYE income from my employer through tax year 2023/24, which was above 100k, but just under 150k. As soon as 2023/2024 tax year ended I submitted a Self Assessment Tax return and was notified that I owe additional 5,6K in taxes. Given my PAYE income was less than 150k and I was technically not required to submit the Self Assessment tax return (based on the questionnaire I completed after submission of the tax return) do I still owe the tax as calculated by HMCR?
