Hi all, I am doing my 1st SA this year after earning £1500 additional income. When I enter this figure in the tax calculated is £343 which seems wrong as you are allowed to earn £1000 without declaring! Should I just be entering the £500?

Hi
If this is self employment income then you need to complete the self employment page on your tax return. On the self employment page you can then claim the £1000 allowance against your profits.
