I want to buy shares of a UK company listed on LSE. But my funds are in an offshore securities account, and the money uses a remittance and cannot be brought to the UK. Now I use this fund as a guarantee to borrow money, use the borrowed money to buy shares of this UK company, and then use the company's dividends or sell the shares to repay the money. Does this violate the remittance basics?

Hi Tom9918
Please have a look at the guidance at RDRM33050, showing examples of remittances to the UK, asit includes offshore loans.  (Residence, Domicile and Remittance Basis Manual).
Thank you.
