Hello, I am a non-domicile UK resident (US citizen), taxed on a remittance basis. I transferred money to the UK in 2022 from the US to pay for the deposit on a flat. This was from a US account which has received interest, dividends, and capital gains since we moved to the UK, which I've paid US taxes on each year. I need help in how to calculate what UK taxes are owed. I see from answers to previous threads that I may owe taxes but there are no specific examples, worksheets, etc. that give me instruction on exactly how to calculate the specific amount owed. I do not have a tax advisor - I am completing the Self Assessment myself. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
