Hi, If the total savings interest received from my savings accounts in the UK and overseas is just a few hundred pounds and is calculated below the Allowance, do I need to file it in the Personal Assessment form? Thank you.

Dear HMRC, Thank you for your reply. However, if the saving interest (just few hundred pounds and is calculated below the Allowance) is come from a bank in Hong Kong i.e., FOREIGN INTEREST , do I need to file it in the Personal Assessment form? Thank you.

Hi hkwfh,
Yes as foreign income is Self Assessment criteria.
Thank you.
