Mileage Allowance Claim

Hi all, I submitted a number for different claims over a few different tax years, for WFT and mileage allowance. I have had some acknowledgement for the WFH claims however I have received nothing in relation to my mileage. Is it common to not receive anything in relation to the mileage claims? And how long does it usually take to hear back? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
