Hello, I hope someone could help for this question. Thanks in advance. I am BNO holder and arrive in the UK on Jun 2023. I register self-assessment code on August 2023. For 22/23, I have not zero days spent in the UK. Do I need to submit tax return for 22/23? In case I need to submit tax return, I have foreign & interest income (over£1,000) in 22/23 but I was the non UK resistance in 22/23. Do I need to pay tax in 22/23 for foreign/interest/dividends ?

Hi thomas chung,
As you did not arrive until the 23/24 tax year, no there is nothing to report for tax year 22/23.
Thank you.
