Hello, I am a full time employee and I earn more than £150,000; therefore I need to do self assessment. As far as I know, spread betting is not taxed under certain circumstances. If I make some profit from spread betting on top of my annual income, do I still need to declare that income on top of my annual salary and include it in self assessment form, even if profit from spread betting is not in taxable form? Regards

Hi James Stevenson,
If you meet the conditions here:
CG56105 - Futures: financial futures: financial spread betting
Then you do not need to report it.
Thank you.
