Hi, Does anyone know what to do/who to contact in relation to an unfortunate (but thankfully short!) overlap between two types of status? I believe that I de-registered as self-employed by filing in the relevant online form on 5 February 2024, stating that my last day of self-employment was 2 February. I was going through some documents today and realised that on the same day - 5 February - Job Centre Plus made a letter telling me about my Job Seeker's Allowance claim being successful, and awarded to me from 29 January 2024. Obviously, the letter would have taken a couple of days to arrive by post hence me knowing about the dates overlapping. This means that between 29 January and 2 February, I was likely registered as both 'self-employed' and 'unemployed'. Not sure if teams at DWP or rather HRMC can help me fix this? Any steer would be hugely appreciated.
