Due to bonus received from the company at the end of tax year, eventually I was not entitled to Child Benefit after taking for nearly the whole year. I totally understand that that amount should be given back (which depends on total income) but it seems to be that after doing self assessment, value which should be given back is £200 higher than I was paid it. Is there any clear reason why? Thank you
