Good morning, I’m looking to follow up on a P85 form I submitted. I have Noa referendum? I also have a general enquiry. Does it hold that if you were moved. abroad for a portion of the year that regardless of the income tax repayment you are to likely receive the national insurance tax repayment proportional ly is that accurate?

Moving abroad involves researching your new location, securing necessary visas, arranging accommodation, and setting up health insurance and finances. Planning ahead and adapting to the local culture and language will ensure a smooth transition.

Hi mattreniri Renirie,

If you leave the UK for less than a full tax year then there would be no repayment due, you would still be liable to UK tax as normal. You can see guidqance here:

Tax if you leave the UK to live abroad

Thank you.
