Good afternoon, I would like to enquire whether foreign earnings from self-employment as a sole trader are considered foreign income. If so, do I have to complete the foreign section? All of my earnings stem solely from online services I offer and not from any land, property, or pensions. However, I am uncertain if I am understanding this correctly. I am an EU-citizen if this is of any relevance for this matter. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Hi,
As a UK resident, you are taxable on your world-wide income.
Income from overseas that arises from your self employment, is taxable and should be included in your gross profit for your self employment.
If you are required to pay tax in the foreign country on this income, then you declare it in the foreign section of the tax return and claim a foreign tax credit.
Thank you.
