When will ai hear after registering

I sent in my form to register for self assessment on 28.3.2024. When will I hear back? Is there a timescale?

If submitted 28 March 2024 then should have been reviewed by now.

I spoke to someone yesterday and they said there has been a delay and they definitely haven’t responded yet. I’m getting a bit worrying.

If you have registered for Self Assessment once set up you will receive a letter with your UTR number.
If you do not receive the letter you can contact HMRC to review:
