I am resident and working in Germany. I rent out accommodation in the UK, so will be submitting a Self Assessment for 2023-24 Tax year. My question is I have interest and dividends being paid out in the UK. Do I declare these in my UK tax submission. My German tax advisor is indicating that I need to declare these in my German Tax submission - and I am worried that I will be taxed in both the UK and German. I've tried to read the advise, but I can't find any confirmation on where I declare the interest/dividend income (recognising there is a allowance for each) Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi
You need to declare ALL UK income on the tax return and as non resdient you will need to file a paper return or buy 3rd party software to file online as the residence page is required. For paper returns, it is page 3 and for online, you need to tailor the return at section 3 to say that you have this type of income.
