I moved to the UK from Israel a couple of years ago. I have old provident funds in Israel to which I no longer contribute. Do I need to report these provident funds in my self-assessment? Thanks.

To be clear, I have not started receiving payments from these funds.

Hi ,

If no funds are generated then there is nothing to declare.

Further guidance is at :

Tax on foreign income   .

Thank you .

Thank you for your clarification. To ensure I understand correctly when you say 'no funds are generated,' do you mean that no money is withdrawn or used from the existing funds, regardless of any potential growth or interest accrued?

Our response is interest accrued.
Thank you.
